Morgan Hunter Education is proud to offer the following  solutions for your staffing needs:

Recruiting

We recruit throughout the entire school year through various methods and marketing campaigns, including social media, LinkedIn sourcing, referral programs, campus recruiting, and career fairs.

Application Process

We adhere to the same standards as the Missouri and Kansas Departments of Education, but go one step further by interviewing each applicant, as well as conducting an additional background screening and two previous employment checks.

Orientation & Professional Development

All new employees will go through orientation, which includes information about Morgan Hunter Education processes and procedures, expectations, school policies, and classroom management techniques. We also provide Morgan Hunter Education Substitutes with ongoing professional development each year. We are committed to providing our substitute teachers with the most current professional development programs to ensure that our districts receive only the most qualified substitute teachers.

Scheduling

We use the Frontline Education Absence Management scheduling system. Our system allows your teachers to report absences and request substitute teachers via the Frontline App or website. We have dedicated phone and texting lines exclusively for your teachers and Morgan Hunter Education substitute teachers. Our Staffing Specialists complement the Absence Management system to fill teacher absences by contacting available substitute teachers by phone, text, and email.

Administrative Procedures

We handle the entire administrative side of substitute staffing: Payroll processing, including weekly payroll, federal and state payroll taxes, unemployment insurance, workers’ compensation, background checks, certification status, 401(k) plans.

Management & Quality Control

All substitutes receive performance-based evaluations. We welcome all feedback, positive or negative. We will track and analyze the feedback to help us manage and meet the needs of our districts. We also provide a referral rewards program, substitute teacher of the semester and year awards, and substitute appreciation events.
